In the age of TikTok, YouTube and the like, blogs are not as popular as they were a few years ago, especially among the younger generation. Therefore, the main focus of this blog is not to get as many visitors as possible in order to make a living from advertising. (If it came to that, I wouldn’t mind :-). But other channels would be more promising).
Instead, this blog serves as a kind of diary or documentation of my own projects. At the same time I learn something about how to present myself and my projects to the public. For you as a reader, the blog is especially interesting if you pursue the same goals as I do.
Background and goals
When I was a child, I wrote in my sister’s friend book that I wanted to be a millionaire one day. Now, about 25 years later, I call it financial freedom and I still haven’t reached my goal. I started earning a living as a salaried software developer right after graduating from university.
Like most software developers, my dream was to create software that would make me financially independent. Despite several attempts and trials, both part-time and full-time, and some with start-up grants, I failed miserably.
After getting up from the ashes several times, I remembered my core competency and set out to develop a web application / SaaS.

In this blog I describe everything that happens during development. I describe the decisions I make, the experiences I have and of course the technologies I use. In retrospect, it is also very easy to see the mistakes.
